SigsegV1 event
I’d like to tell you about a big project we’ve put together with friends around hacking. For the past year, we’ve been working on the organization of a 24-hour hacking event that will take place on December 1st, 2018.
The project
SigsegV1 is a mainly French-speaking conference on the theme of hacking in all its forms. Reverse-Engineering, offensive security, hacking of objects, and any other way of tinkering. The goal is to provide an environment where enthusiasts of all levels can meet and talk about real technique, without any crypto-GDPR-cyber-currency bullshit.
The event will take place from December 1st at 13:37 to December 2nd at 13:37. It will consist of talks on various topics, as well as a CTF that will be held overnight.
How to attend
The event is open to 100 people. To be able to attend, you must register for the qualifications which will take place on Friday September 28th 2018 at 7pm, French time. The first 100 people to solve the 5 challenges will be able to claim their spot and take part in the event. These challenges aren’t difficult and are intended to make sure that the participants are doing at least a bit of security, or are strongly interested in it.
